  1. Your thinking about a pool What type of pool do we want to build your options are in ground, above ground, structure, vinyl, concrete, plaster or Pebble Tec, Natural or Conventional, Residential or Commercial. I’m Kevin Boylen I’ve designed and constructed all of the above

Things that need to be known What is the location like? flat/slope, sunny/shady, wet/dry, soft/hard Who will use the pool? swimmers/non-swimmers/both What will the pool be used for? pleasure/exercise /training/competition When will the pool be used? (day/night) Will the pool be used year round ? enclosed/heated How many people will be in the pool at one time???

  3. Things to think about We know everyone wants everything! You want all the bells and whistles. Of course you do, it’s natural. And you don’t want to have to do anything but enjoy the pool. You want the pool to take care of itself, easy on you. One thing is you don’t want a lot of maintenance. That all sounds good . It all depends on how much it will cost. You might ask yourself should we make the pool a little smaller so we can have the extras (automatic cleaner, chlorine generator, water level controller, ph controller, fiber optic lighting, rockwork ,waterfalls, grotto, cave, in pool bar stools, tile mosaics, deck jets, sun shelf, geysers, and more.

  4. What can I do to get the bells and whistles How is this project going to happen? Am I Joe homeowner going take it on?, Am I going to get some help ? , Am I going to have someone else do it for me? If I have someone else, do they really know what they are doing ?, Or are they just kids on summer vacation ?, How much money can I save if I do some myself, What extras can I have if I do some of the project myself ?, Would I be better to have a pool consultant help with this project?

  5. Backyard Paradise With the rise in gasoline prices you probably aren’t going to the beach every other weekend. It sure would be nice to take a dip in the Swimmin Hole in your own backyard. No crowds, No worry about the germs that are in commercial pools because you take care of the water. The kids stay home, Their always in the backyard and they know how to swim very well ! And It’s a major project that you were involved in ,and you know it was done the way it should be done. And at night when the kids are asleep.

  6. If it built right, It will work right I’ve seen and you have probably heard so many horror stories about the pool in the back yard. Sometimes it can cause a home not to sell. And than there are those house’s that sell because of the pool or should we say because of the Swimmin Hole.

  7. If your going to have a pool the pool should make a statement When your family and friends come over to take a dip you want it to be a memorable experience not only do you want the pool to look like a masterpiece you want it to function like one . You want something to be proud of. You don’t want a pool YOU WANT A SWIMMIM HOLE!
