Performance Based Incentive System (PBIS) Overview • Provides a county-by-county snapshot of child care, health, and family support data • Compiled by NCPC using third-party data sources (except for Family Support) • Semi-annual awards given to Partnerships meeting or exceeding high-performing standards with no administrative audit findings - family support standards mandatory • At times, PBIS has been added to the statewide funding formula for Smart Start • Mandatory, selected, and non-selected categories
