Chinook Council: Our Strategy Chinook Council aims togrowits membershipto more than 10,000 well-rounded youthby2018and be recognized as the premier youth adventure organization in Alberta In support of this, every choice that people within the council make will: • Support the Scout Method, with an emphasis on the outdoors as a key learning resource • Support the rollout of the Canadian Path, with an focus on youth leadership and helping adults transition from “leader” to “Scouter” • Measurably improve the qualityof our programs & the capability of our Scouters • Help our organization diversify & support the communities that we work in • Contribute to the sustainability and financialhealthof our organization at all levels
