  4. Status quo ReportMay 2004 What happened since the Budapest Meeting 2003 Qualtiy in VET

Present situation (1) • The data available from the rectangular EXCEL-matrix (which had been gained from a questionnaire filled in by colleagues in June 2003) were integrated into the SPSS programme, which is far more efficient and enables a more time-saving statistic evaluation.   6. Present situation (2) • This transfer of data speeds up the calculation of frequencies, averages, standard deviation, skewness, covariance, slowly or quickly rising curves, median, correlations ... Qualtiy in VET

Present situation (3) • The calculated frequencies were then again transferred into an EXCEL file to permit the graphic evaluation of all answers. • To put it simply, it is now possible to print out one A4-sheet per question which shows the above mentioned parameters and therefore provides an excellent overview of the result of the respective question.   9. Future Plans (1) • In order to replace the manual data transfer into an EXCEL-sheet followed by a processing in SPPS, an interactive questionnaire will be drafted. Qualtiy in VET

  10. Future Plans (2) • This tool will process data automatically (via ACCESS, EXCEL und SPSS) and supply the quantitative evaluation on which further qualitative interpretations can be based. A further degree of automation is in planning stage. Qualtiy in VET
