Answer 1 – 10 • Why conflicts eventually arose between different African people groups as they fought for power after Europeans left, having created countries with borders that didn’t take into consideration ethic/cultural differences and rivalries.

Answer 1 – 30 • Children had worked on the family farms so it didn’t seem any different. • Children were small enough to get in tight places in mines and under machines in factories. • Families were living in poverty and wanted all family members to work.
