  3. S is for Secrets Shhh….It’s a Secret

S is for Secrets • I will not give out information about myself online • Keep my home address and telephone number a secret • Keep my school information a secret • Keep my pictures secret • Even if the person online tells you that they are your friend do not give out your information. This could be very dangerous.

  5. S is for Secrets • I will not give out my password • Not even your friends should know your password.

  6. A is for Adults Always check with an adult

A is for Adults • I will ask a grown up if I can download and install software from the internet • Sometimes software carry viruses that can be harmful to a computer. • I will tell an adult if someone online asks to meet me face-to-face • Meeting face-to-face with someone you met on the internet is very dangerous.

  8. A is for Adults • I will tell an adult if I see anything online that makes me uncomfortable • Sometimes people send emails that have bad things on them. If you receive one of the emails let someone know. • Sometimes people talk in chat rooms and say things that are not nice. Always let an adult know if the things that are said make you feel uncomfortable

  10. F is for Feelings • I will never respond to a message that makes me feel uncomfortable • Sometimes people talk in chat rooms and say things that are not nice. Never respond to a message that makes you feel uncomfortable. It may get you in trouble. • I will never talk to people I do not know • Sometimes people you don’t know will try to talk to you. Talking to people you do not know may be very harmful.

  11. F is for Feelings • I will never open an email if I do not know who sent it • Sometimes people send emails with viruses. These viruses can break your computer. • I will be a responsible online citizen • I will not hurt other people online • I will not do anything against the law while online • Be careful about what you say while you are online.It can hurt other peoples feelings

E is for Educate • I understand I can have fun and learn things online. • I will help my parents understand how to have fun and learn things online • I will learn how to be SAFE while searching the internet • The internet is a great place to learn fun things. Be careful because not all things on the internet is real. Take the time to learn internet safety and you can safely surf the net.

  14. Remember Keep It SAFE • Shhh…It’s A Secret – Never Tell Secrets • Always Check with an Adult – Make sure it is safe before doing things online • Trust Your Feelings – They are usually correct • Educate Yourself – Know the do’s and don’t about the internet
