Demonstrative adjectives appear before nouns. They agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. Ex: ¿Cuantocuestoesteanillo? How much does this ring cost? Demonstrative pronouns take the place of nouns. They agree in gender and number with the noun they replace. Ex: ¿Cuántocuestaéste? How much does this one cost?
