  3. WHAT IS I/GCSE? • Replaced the old O levels and CSE in 1988 as formal 14-16 examination • GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education • IGCSE - InternationalGeneralCertificateofSecondary Education

  4. 2-YEAR COURSES • Sit exams in May/June 2016 in most subjects • Marked at I/GCSE standard throughout – so grades may fall initially • Try to stay in Rygaards as difficult to change schools during I/GCSE courses.
