Timeline • May 29: • First round of Background estimation • First round of signal unfolding ntuples ready • May 31: • ATGC 2D grid parametrization ready for Wg/Zg/ Znunug. • June 1 : Supporting note ready • June 4~6: EB meeting • unblind Exotic analysis. • June 6~ June 13 : • Finalizing background estimation. • Final unfolding ntuples ready. • MCFM NLO cross section central value ready. • June 13 (egamma meeting): • Photon efficiency recommendations from Egamma • Electron/photon isolation efficiency approved by Egamma. • Electron fake photon rate for Znunu+gamma
Timeline • June 18 : update supporting • Observed Exotic limits ready • First round of measured cross section ready • MCFM NLO cross section systematics ready with part of systematics. • First round of ATGC limits • June 19~21 : EB meeting && major update in SM/ DBL meeting • June 21~29 : • Response to EB questions • Second round of measured cross section • Second round of ATGC limits with full systematics • July: • Circulate supporting note in early July to SM/Exotic group. • Combined SM+Exotic approval early July. • August: • First draft of paper ready before August
The goal : differential measurement • Systematics : • Each time vary one systematics, rebuild the response matrix Rij
Jet multiplicity ( Wg/Zg) • Binning : [0,1] , [1,2] , [2,3] , [3,inf] • Phase space : pT_gamma> 15 , 60 , 100GeV • Data histogram (Camilla/Feng and Henso/Matthew) : • W/Z jet shape • taken from non isolated (nominal ) • From nontight photons (cross check) • Photon jet shape: • taken from non-isolated leptons • Other Background : Taken from Monte Carlo .
Transverse mass (Wg) and invariant mass (Zg) • Binning : [50,100],[100,150],[150,200],[200,300],[300,400],[400,inf] • Phase space : pT_gamma> 40 GeV , inclusive without jet veto • Variable : • Transverse mass (Wg) • invariant mass (Zg)
Radiation zero for W+gamma • Variable : |etalepton- etaphoton| • Binning: [0,0.5],[0.5,1],[1,1.5],[1.5,2],[2,inf] • Phase space : • Only for Wgamma. • pT_gamma> 60 GeV , jet veto (exclusive )
ΔΦ (photon; leading jet) • Variable : ΔΦ (photon; leading jet) • Binning: [0,π/6],[π/6, 2*π/6],[2*π/6, 3*π/6], [3*π/6, 4*π/6], [4*π/6, 5*π/6], [5*π/6, π] • Phase space : • pT_gamma> 60 GeV • Events with one jet • Mainly for Wgamma • Need to check whether we have statistics for Zgamma
