  8. Effects of IGS implementing Absolute PCVs • IGS currently testing Absolute PCVs with parallel finals • IGb00 heights were scaled to match ITRF (VLBI & SLR) • “Antenna + radome” sites may change by few cm • IGS recommends avoiding radomes • GPS tropo estimates should now match VLBI better • Orbits should stay ~ the same due to Kepler’s Laws • IGS Clock files and hence PPP results will change due to shift in TRF scale • Regional Networks may be able to use old Relative PCVs • NEVER mix absolute and relative PCVs (for further details, see IGS Mail 5189, 17 Aug 2005)

  9. Future Work for Orbits/CORS • Improve Ocean Loading Model in site_info • Reprocess all GPS data for 1994-2005 • Iterate orbit processing for IGS early years (1994-1998) • Compare Various Integer-Fixing Techniques • Helmert Blocking software for over 800 CORS • Continue to improve models in Pages for orbits/CORS • Implement post-fit data editing • Add the N-S, E-W Ocean Loading components to Pages • Adopt ANTEX for OPUS/CORS processing • Software for mixed GPS + Galileo (+ GLONASS ?) data
