Objective: • Without untying the large knots, put the two rings together on the same side of the central hole. When that is accomplished, reverse the process and restore the starting position where the rings are separated.
Components: Two ancient Chinese coins (simulated), a cord and a small wooden block with three holes.
Construction: 1. Double the cord and push the loop at the closed end through the large hole at the centre of the wooden block.
Construction: 2. Pass the open ends of the cord through the loop.
Construction: 3. Pass each open end of the cord through the hole in a coin.
Construction: • Through a small hole near the end of the wooden block, and tied a large knot on the other side of the block.
Solution : Put together • Begin with the central loop lying in front of the bar, as in this figure. Pull the loop toward you.
