Objectives • Harnessing, conserving and developing degraded natural resources. • Restoring the ecological balance • Prevention of soil run-off • Regeneration of natural vegetation • Rain water harvesting and recharging of the ground water table • Introduction of multi-cropping and diverse agro-based activities • Promoting sustainable livelihoods
