Jobs in the UK and other countries • Take a walk around the local area and take pictures of workplaces • Reflect on the walk and talk about jobs that people do here • Use photos from the walk, from Life in Bangladesh teaching resource (see webpage – examples included below) and from internet for children to discuss in groups • Children talk about jobs people are doing and collect words in different languages arising from the photos • Feedback to the class: compare vocabulary, discuss working environments in different countries, products being made in other countries and bought in UK
