Q&A Panel Allen BourgoyneAMD ATI FirePro, Director, Software Engineering, Workstation Graphics Allen has more than 20 years of experience in the graphics industry, focusing on the areas of professional graphics and software development. He currently represents AMD professional graphics on the SPEC Graphics Performance Characterization (GPC) committee. Eric Fairbanks Designer and trainer Eric is a consumer industrial engineer at Oakley who relies on ATI FirePro professional graphics for CAD work day-in and day-out, from sketch to design to rapid prototyping to reality. He has worked as a designer for numerous corporations and start-ups on a variety of projects from eyewear and watches to toys and transportation. Eric also currently teaches a college course on applying SolidWorks to consumer product design, and enjoys communicating his passion for design through teaching. Patrick HannanDell Senior Manager, Strategic Market Development, Precision Workstations Patrick has been with Dell for more than 17 years. He currently oversees Dell's strategic software and technology partner relationships for the Precision Workstation line. He also established and currently develops Dell's first workstation-centered program for the company’s global reseller channel under PartnerDirect. ShantanuKedarDassault Systèmes SolidWorks Partner Technical Marketing Manager Shantanu has more than seven years of experience in the CAD industry and has been with DS SolidWorks Corp. since 2008.  As the technical marketing manager of the Partner Program, he works closely with software as well as hardware partners to promote the partner solutions in the SolidWorks user community. Jeffrey R. Rowe Consultant Many know Jeff through his coverage of mechanical CAD technologies in publications such as MCAD Café and Cadalyst. He is an electromechanical designer and the principal of an independent firm that provides consulting and education to the manufacturing industry.
