  1. Heartland 2018 Demo Slam

  2. What’s a “Demo Slam” ?! A “demo slam” is a condensed presentation in which a new tool, tip, trick, or idea is shared with the audience. Each “slammer” is trying to outdo the others by offering the best information in the most memorable presentation style. The audience gets to vote and will select the “winner” at the end of the demo slam.

  3. RULES: One representative (a.k.a. “slammer”) per school district Time limit of three minutes per slam/presentation Slam topic must center around a tech tool/tip/trick/idea Video, images, audio, music, costumes, props … are all allowed (and even a bit encouraged) Slammer must end his/her presentation by stating, “SLAM!” Audience will vote for winner(s) … and prizes will be given to the top vote-getters!
