Facts • A disease of the Endocrine system is Addison’s Disease. Which is where the adrenaline glands do not produce sufficient steroid hormones. It can be caused by damage to the body’s immune system. The symptom is abdominal pain and weakness and under some circumstances can lead to Addisonian crisis which the symptoms are high blood pressure and comas. A way to find out if you have Addison’s disease is by via blood tests and medical imaging.
