  4. Step 3: What is a log? Basically, a logorithm is the inverse of an exponential equation. Meaning that if you swapped the tables of An exponential function, you would get a log function.

  5. Step 4: parts of a log function? log10(1000) = 3 Power Answer Exponent Base

  6. Step 5: Now just change up the places of the base answer and power Practice: 33 = 27 64 = 1296 52 = 25 26 = 64

  7. Practice problems answers log3(27) = 3 log6(1296) = 4 log5(25) = 2 log2(64) = 4
