Criteria of laboratory: PC lab • All criteria previously stated are valid for the PC lab while adjusting the following: • The dependence on artificial lighting; • Windows has to be provided with curtains to avoid glare; and • Mechanical ventilation is essential to avoid dusting of the machines, with the results of having control over the lab temperature. Flexibility in the Design of Applied Science Lab • Integration of handicraft workshop with that of Applied science lab by re-arranging of furniture as follows: • Fixed furniture is used for both labs • Movable furniture drawn in the figure with bunt lines is specified for applied science lab • Movable furniture drawn in the figure with cut lines is specified for handicraft workshop.
