Planned Itinerary Monday 23rd of July • 4.30 am: students arrive at departure point (Lees Brook Community School) • 5.10 am: coach leaves for drive to Dover. • 6.30 pm: expected time of arrival at accommodation • Evening programme to be confirmed Tuesday 24th of July: am: visit of a local French market Pm: Visit to the Eiffel Tower and bateaux parisiens. E111 CARDS The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) replaced the old E111 in 2006. Your EHIC lets you get state healthcare at a reduced cost or sometimes for free. It will cover you for treatment that is needed to allow you to continue your stay until your planned return. It also covers you for treatment of pre-existing medical conditions. The EHIC is valid in all European Economic Area (EEA) countries, including Switzerland. You can apply for a free EHIC online. The EHIC is entirely free of charge. However, other unofficial websites may charge you if you apply through them.
What to pack: • 1 small rucksack • 1 pillow and small blanket • 1 packed lunch/ drinks for Monday • snacks • Suntan lotion • Hats • Waterproof jackets just in case! • Toiletries • Money ( we recommend between 20-60 euros) • EHIC • Medication (if needed) • Make sure your snacks and anything else you need from the journey are packed in a separate bag and brought onto the coach with you
Expectations - Listen to and follow instructions at all times. - Remain in your pre-established friendship groups. No-one should EVER be on their own. -Stick to exact meeting times specified by members of staff. - Be on your best behaviour at all times as you are representing the school.
