"This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before." ― Leonard Bernstein • Ninja Rules • Belts can be earned during after-school Band Club, by appointment from 7:30-7:55am, or in class as instructional time allows. • All belts must be earned in order. e.g. Students cannot pass off orange belt before passing off white and yellow belts. • Students can only pass off one (1) belt per day. • If there is more than one requirement for a given belt, students may choose to pass off one or more of those requirements on a single day. • You must have all materials with you in order to attempt earning a belt. i.e. reeds, valve/slide oil, swab, binder, pencil • All requirements must be played with correct notes, rhythms, articulations & dynamics to receive credit.
