World Population • 96 % of the World’s Population lives outside the United States.
Economic Development • 90% of all new economic development will come to the United States because of a skilled work force, educated citizenry, new technology, value–added products, and modernize trade agreements.
Trade Expansion • Most of the expansion in export trade in the next ten years will come from “Main Street USA”.
Export Impact • 15 to 18,000 new jobs are created for every $1Billion dollars in U.S. exports.
Importance of the Asian Economy • Over 40 % of U.S. Agricultural Exports are destined for Asian Markets; therefore, any perceived weakness in the Asian economy may imply a decline in demand for American agricultural products.
