Purpose: • To establish a collaborative team with the knowledge, skills, and capacities to deploy the professional development priorities of RttT statewide. (specifically, those articulated in section D5.)
Outcomes:By the end of “Boot Camp” team members will have a(n): • Strong sense of team • Common vision of the scope of work for this team • Common baseline of knowledge related to: • 21st Century Skills • NC Teacher Evaluation Process • Strategies for Facilitating Change • Components of High Quality Professional Development • Understanding of important housekeepingexpectations • Understanding of areas for growth/development of collaborative leadership skills • Plan for initiating regional actions that must occur prior to the Summer Institutes
