General Education Requirements ONLINE PLACEMENT TESTS • Your advisor will make a recommendation based on placement test scores (UNF Math Placement, UNF Writing Placement, SAT, ACT, PERT or CPT) • Math preparation (Elementary or Intermediate Algebra) • English preparation (Intensive College Writing) • Will be addressed in further detail in advising session.

Pre- Professional PreparationPage 27 Myth: • To become a doctor or a lawyer you must major in premed or prelaw Fact: • Premed, prelaw and other professional careers are not specific majors at UNF. To go on to medical, pharmacy, dental, law school, etc you are required to have certain skills and there can be specific course requirements.

  18. “Credit Hours” General Education Requirements 36 hrs Prerequisites for your major XX hrs Free Electives XX hrs 60 Hrs ACE Recommends: Take 12-15 credits per semester. You must take 12 credits to be a full time student.

UNF has 5 Colleges: • Brooks College of Health • Coggin College of Business • College of Arts and Sciences • College of Computing, Construction, and Engineering • College of Education • 120 or more credit hours  Graduation! To graduate in 4 years you need to complete 30 hours a year
