How can my community benefit from the JSNA? • Example 2 – Mental Health • Islington has higher level of mental health – very complex • JSNA areas of opportunity - long-term mental health problems & mental health stigma / discrimination
How can my community benefit from the JSNA? • Example 3 – Housing and Homelessness • Housing is vital for good health • Homelessness is also an issue - number of households in temporary accommodation • JSNA highlighted effective advice
Conclusion – using local expertise • JSNA highlights the main health and wellbeing issues • A framework to commission quality services • Formed through engagement with the community and voluntary organisations • Benefits community and voluntary organisations by showing where their services could be used, and funded • Services and expertise offered by the ICN members and their groups is an amazing asset
