  3. WECC authority to collect/purchase data • Existing Process • LRS Data Collection Manual -> WECC Standards • Future Reach • FERC Order 1000 -> Add to Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) • TAS, Staff are calling on DWG to help build the Business Case

WECC level activity on data collection and management • An Internal Strategic Initiative at WECC; enhancing the internal process for info collected: • Efficiencies • Credible Data An 18 month project, started Jan’12; Pursued from the prospective of: • Data collection • Storage • Dissemination of data

  5. Identifying TEPPC data needs/gaps • Building the Business Case – DWG can: • Itemize missing data • Identify Data Enhancements • Staff support to help with: • Data Collection Manual • Data Inventory • Categorization • Use • Where from

  6. DWG Role • Scoping Document by - Stan Holland Lead • Discuss Use • Update to TAS by July 10, 2012 • Note: build on Key Assumptions Metrics; Data Inventory document by Stan • DWG to act as an advisory committee who will advise on other data needs and potential enhancements
