What is a Bid? • This should be a document which declares that your Jesuit institution would like to host NJSLC 2016. • Why is your institution the best candidate to host the conference? • An overview of what the general conference layout will be.
What Needs To Be in a Bid? • Letter of intent • Benefits of your school hosting NJSLC 2016 • Information regarding host institution • Information regarding host city • Conference theme • Desired outcomes, goals, and learning objectives
What Needs To Be in a Bid? • Tentative schedule including workshops, community service, entertainment, spark, city excursion, etc… • Proposed budget-funding sources, anticipated costs, etc… • Conference planning team structure • Steps already taken for planning
What Needs To Be in a Bid? • Letters of Support • President • Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) • Undergraduate Student Body President • Other Letters of Support from your College or University • Innovative ideas for the conference
