2. MY MOM

   Ms. Celentano is a hero because she is a great teacher and mom. She helped me get in tutoring for writing so I can write better stories. My mom is the best!!!
3. Facts about my mom My mom works at Castle Creek She has 2 children including me. Her husband’s (a.k.a my dad) name is Chriss.

   A legendary author
5. Things about Alex Haley Alex was born in Ithaca New York august 11/1921. Growing up, Haley became interested in his ancestry while listening to colorful stories told by his family. These stories, which traced seven generations, would become the source and inspiration for Haley's later work. Alex was a man like George Washington carver he wanted to learn and so he did he learned about his ancestry. Alex later died on February 10 1992 at the age of 70 in Seattle Washington of a heart attack.
6. BILL GATES software company Microsoft and is one of the world's wealthiest men. Gates married Melinda French, a Microsoft employee, on 1 January 1994. Bill gates has a lot of money. He is a hero because he donates a lot of money to people and is not selfish.

8. Her story Amelia Earhart didn’t want to get married but did to George Putman who didn’t make her a house wife Amelia is a hero for her great bravery and her adventuress soul. She didn’t always like planes but when she saw a airplane show she fell in love with planes and wanted to become a pilot. she proved that women can do anything and everything!
9. Elizabeth Blackwell Elizabeth Blackwell was the first lady to receive a medical degree. Elizabeth Blackwell live from 1821-1910. Not only was she a doctor, she was a teacher too. Women weren’t allowed to go to college. Elizabeth watched some of her siblings and eight of her cousins die. She was admitted to medical school as a joke, Then, was terribly criticized.
10. Elizabeth Blackwell I think that Elizabeth Blackwell is a hero because if it wasn’t for her, the world wouldn’t have girl (lady) doctors. Then, I wouldn’t even get to try for a doctor, because that is what I want to be.( But I want to be a pet one) Also, I think it is important what she did. She didn’t give up.     Harriet Tubman was born in 1820 and she rescued more than 300 slaves by taking the under ground railroad. she died march, 10 , 1913. She is a hero to me because she is helpful and she helped more than 300 slaves escape!!
12. Helen Keller, A Hero Helen Keller is a hero because when she was struggling through her illnesses she did what she could to make the world a better place even though she was blind and deaf. 13. Fun Facts About Helen Keller Helen was born June 27, 1880. She died June 1, 1968 Since Keller was deaf and blind she communicated using sign language. Helen Keller was awarded with the Presidential award medal. In 1886 Helen met Alexander Graham Bell. In 1943 she began visiting wounded soldiers. In 1968 Helen died in Westport, Connecticut.     Leos life long dream was to learn to fly and figure out how Leonardo was a hero because he invented some very important things in our lives such as the snorkel and he got the idea for the flying machine also He also learned to swim by watching the frogs. Leonardo loved to observe things in nature and draw whatever he sees. Leonardo always asked questions that no one could answer

    Kobe Bryant is a hero to me because he’s a part of NBA Cares which is a program that gives underprivileged children a chance to meet the stars of basketball and get to know them.
18. Facts about Kobe Kobe Bryant is a basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe is the son of former NBA legend Joe “Jellybean” Bryant. Bryant then moved to Italy with young Kobe to play in the Italian basketball league.

    I think Michael Jackson is a hero because he donated money to poor people and he was brave enough to perform in front of millions of fans. p.s he was born on august 29 1958 and died on June 25 2009 From a rare diesis

20. Neil Armstrong!

    Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930. He died in 2011. The state he was born in was Wapakoneta, Ohio. Neil was awarded the presidential medal of freedom. He was also awarded the congressional space medal of honor. Neil Armstrong was in space for eight days, fourteen hours, twelve minutes and thirty-one seconds. Neil was awarded the congressional gold medal. Armstrong’s second and last spaceflight was as mission commander of the Apollo 11 moon landing mission on July 20, 1969. I think Neil Armstrong is a hero because he was the first person to go to the moon. I think he is also a hero because he was the person who put the American Flag on the moon.

23. Why Orville Wright is important? Orville Wright is important because with him and his brother, people can’t travel from one place to another. People need to travel from one place to another back then. Now that Orville and Wilbur Wright’s invention is complete, people can fly over 2,000 miles. 

GEORGE BECAME COMMANDER CHIEF OF THE CONTINENTAL ARMY DURING THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. GEORGE WASHINGTON HAD A HARD TIME WITH HIS MOTHER EVER SINCE HIS FATHER DIED.AFTER GEORGES FATHER DIED HIS MOTHER BECAME A TOUGH,DRIVEN WOMAN.
