Our SMART centres aim to provideu00a0employability skills trainingu00a0to youth from economically weaker sections of the urban community. The skill training is offered to the beneficiaries through a well-structured training program to ensure that after the completion of the training they are placed in suitable and dignified jobs. The SMART program places great emphasis on foundational skills for a job such as Spoken English, Basic IT and Workplace Readiness. A total of 15 domains and 50 courses are being offered to students for them to opt from SMART, SMART (for Persons with Disabilities).

  1. Vocational Training Centres | Tech Mahindra Foundation Our SMART centres aim to provide employability skills training to youth from economically weaker sections of the urban community. The skill training is offered to the beneficiaries through a well-structured training program to ensure that after the completion of the training they are placed in suitable and dignified jobs. The SMART program places great emphasis on foundational skills for a job such as Spoken English, Basic IT and Workplace Readiness. A total of 15 domains and 50 courses are being offered to students for them to opt from SMART, SMART+ (for Persons with Disabilities), and SMART-T (Technical) Centres. Empowering youth with skills for a brighter future The SMART program through its vocational centres offers a variety of skill training in various domains across the service as well as the manufacturing industry. It provides training in courses such as Foundation skills and domain-specific areas that are aligned to the QP (qualification pack) and NOS (National Occupation Standards) as specified by the Sector Skill Council. Sector Specific Domains: In these SMART vocational training centres, there are a total of 15 domains and 50 courses available for students to choose from. Some of the courses include:

Foundation Skills Course: ● ● ● Basic IT Spoken English Workplace Readiness The course training manuals provided at our vocational centres are detailed and easy to comprehend for students. A robust system of regular assessments and certification on successful completion of the training is an integral part of the program. Youth graduating from SMART centres are successfully placed in the service and manufacturing sectors. Our SMART program has a live Management Information System that helps in monitoring and evaluation of quantitative and qualitative data across all locations.
