Who is responsible officer? • The responsible officer (RO) is the individual who organizes and manages appraisal activities and revalidation. • He/ She is a senior doctor working within the designated body (healthcare organization). • The function of the Responsible officer GMC has been described in the Medical Professional Regulation 2010.
