  2. Second Harvest Food Bank • Second Harvest Food Bank is the largest Hunger Relief organization in the world! • The Bank here in Valdosta hosts programs like The Valdosta Food Bank, Rescue Valdosta, Kids Cafe', The Community Soup Kitchen, Manna Truck, and the Community Kitchens Program.

  3. What I did at the Bank… • I stocked and organized empty boxes so people looking for boxes can find them more efficiently.

  4. Unloading Boxes • I helped unload boxes full of food. • First, I opened the boxes and looked at what kind of food was in the box.

  5. Checking the food… • Then, I looked through all the food to make sure nothing was wrong with it and it could be repackaged.

  6. Stocking Shelves • I stocked the shelves with all different sorts of food. • I put them up on the shelves in an orderly fashion, so people can easily find different kinds of food.

  7. I think the Second Harvest Food Bank has wonderful programs that touch many people in a positive way. • I really enjoyed being apart of this experience!
