17. Context Oklahoma has worked hard to be a pioneer in education reform. One of its current reform goals focuses on improving standards and assessments.
The State Board of Education raised the bar on student expectations for Mathematics and Reading in Grades 3 - 8 in order to truly prepare Oklahoma children for a global economy. 17

A school/district must meet or exceed a graduation rate of 68.7% or increase the graduation rate from the previous year by 10% of the difference between 100% and the previous year’s rate. 25
