Implications for NOT making AYP • AYP is a part of the AZ Learns Label • 1 point out of 27 possible • Title Schools (a school that receives any title money at all) are placed into School Improvement • Each year of school improvement brings sanctions from writing a School Improvement Plan, providing transportation to students to attend another school, firing the principal and staff, and bringing in an outside agency to run the school
