  3. Parts of The Muscular System • Connective tissue: keep bones held together • Skeletal tissue: is connected to skeleton by bands or directly • Skeletal muscle: works in pairs, works together to bend a joint • Smooth muscle: makes up most of the walls • Cardiac muscles: makes heart wall
