  2. William Barents represented the country Holland.

  3. On William Barents’ first expedition he was forced to turn back because of the Northern Extremity found in the Red Sea.

  4. In 1595 he commanded another expedition (his second) with seven ships. I command another expedition

  5. William Barents third expedition was a failure and resulted to his death.

  6. The ships became separated and the ship Barent was on got trapped in ice.

  7. On June 13, 1597 most of William Barents party left on two open boats William Barents was forced to stay , and died on June 20, 1597.

  8. William Barents did not return, but he got a sea named after called the Barents sea and a Region called the Barents Region. Barents Region
