  1. Dr. Gerald Schell completed his residency in Neurological Surgery Affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, Dr. Gerald Schell is a renowned neurosurgeon in Saginaw Michigan. He works to offer a wide range of spine treatments at Schell Spine. These treatments include Spinal Fusion, Anterior Cervical Discectomy Fusion, and Spinal Cord Stimulation.

  2. Pertaining more to his expertise, Gerald is a leader in employing leading edge technologies to access and repair spinal structures while minimizing the damage to the surrounding tissues. Through various hospital affiliations, Gerald operates a number of clinic and surgery locations throughout the state of Michigan. With more than 35 years of expertise with spine, Dr. Schell is aimed at providing the best neurosurgical care available, while utilizing the latest procedures, training, and technologies. He has worked hard to build his practice and reputation around the philosophy of providing the least invasive care to minimize recovery time and optimize the clinical outcomes. Gerald received his Doctor of medicine degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine before completing a neurosurgical rotation at Syracuse University. The university later offered him the directorship of its neurosurgical training program, which he declined to continue caring for the needs of Michigan patients. Dr. Gerald Schell pursued his residency in Neurological Surgery from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He graduated from Michigan State University medical school in 1980. Regarding his certifications and licensures, Dr. Schell is certified in Neurological Surgery from American Board of Neurological Surgery.
