Roles And Responsibilities Of A Building Contractor A building contractor is basically a person or a company that contracts for the construction of houses, offices, etc. The role of the contractor immediately starts by providing all the building materials and equipment to the workers that are needed to run the project. The responsibility of the contractor also includes verifying the vendor and ensuring the quality of the material being provided to the workers or the material coming on the construction site. We work under the category of civil construction and are one of the best civil contractors in India, i.e, a business entity that builds roads, bridges, docks, utility infrastructure, and other similar constructions in India. Our company holds its office in Noida. In 2010, the company is merged with M/s Ajay Kumar (a company established in 1983) and is owned by Ajay Kumar, the main & sole proprietor of the firm. Our company, Svarrnim Infrastructure works with a viewpoint of providing the best to our customers. Our responsible contractors consider nature and ecology while construction.

Here are some roles and responsibilities of a building contractor: • Project Planning: It involves planning all the crucial project details, redirecting all possible changes, meeting any legal and regulatory issues, and establishing effective communication among project participants. • Project Management: Here the contractor ensures that the funds are available to keep the project moving, purchasing or renting the construction equipment required for the project, and interviewing and hiring subcontractors to complete specialized work. This also includes the creation of progress reports to justify intermediate payments. • Project Tracking: Quality control, using cost-saving construction methods, and construction site safety come under this responsibility. • Legal and Regulatory Issues: The contractors must acquire all the necessary documents which contain permissions and licenses before starting the project while covering fees and taxes that are needed to be paid. • Health and Safety Issues: The contractor must ensure the health and safety issues that arise during the construction at the construction site.The contractor deals with any emergencies and unforeseen issues that happen at the project site and takes actions that are required at that time.
