Outcome week 40 - BCTs Beam dump fixed display • LHC BCTs: • Big improvement. Proxy does not seem to be issue anymore. – We also have all 4 dump line BCTs now. • Logging and some ergonomics of applications and fixed displays to be sorted out. • Capture and beam dumped events always cause both ring beam systems to publish. • For XPOC: BCTs acquire fine...the timestamping needs to be sorted out. • SMP has not been tested yet.
Outcome week 40 – AC Dipole B1: Horizontal/vertical waveform MKQA/ACDipole control • AC Dipole: • Essentially operational. (Power testing on system beam 2 still ongoing) • Required waveform acquisition types (envelope, the whole waveform) all possible with OASIS. • Little issue: hole in waveform????
Outcome 41 – Misc. • Abort gap monitor application: • Trim for critical settings: MCS functionality fully verified. • Still strange behaviour of application when trimming graphically. Will test again. • IQC connected to SIS and injection sequencer: • Testing requires LHC cycle in SPS • VIRTUAL CRITICAL SETTINGS: • Fully available now. The whole chain has been tested and verified. • We need to define them for XPOC, SIS, IQC.
