  1. Welcome to Curriculum Night Mrs. Kincheloe 7th Grade Standard Math (1st- 3rd Academic) & 7th Grade Accelerated Algebra ( 2nd -4thAcademic)

  2. 2nd and 4th Academic: 7th ACC Math First Semester- Data & Stats*- Geometry*- Probability* - Transformations on the coordinate plane- Exponents (Part I) Second Semester- Exponents (Part 2)- Exponents in Geometry- Functions- Linear Functions- Systems of Equations *7th grade concepts, all others are 8th grade concepts REMINDER: Weekly Help Sessions on Wednesday @ 8:30 am. Students must have a signed agenda.

  3. 1st and 3rd Standard First semester- Rational numbers and operations- Exporessions and Equations - Ratio and proportions Second Semester- Statistics - probability- Geormetry - transformations REMINDER: Weekly Help Sessions on Tuesday @ 8:30 am. Students must have a signed agenda.

  4. Requests:- Frequently ask your child if they have pencils and paper for class.- Encourage your child to ask questions… this is very important in accelerated math!- Please consider sending in items for our weekly Chance card drawing(candy, trinkets, snacks, etc).Thanks for being supportive!

  5. Take a look around at the student work. These are some of the work samples on display: • Symmetrical Name Creatures - (2nd and 4th academic) • Compostion notebooks- displaying current topic- transformations ( 2nd and 4th) • Graph puppies ( 1st and 3rd)
