Revision of Technical Definition (TD) Reminders on Technical Definition • TD in general • Excel file • Is existing in the actual format since nearly 10 years • Translate all customer information present in the contract in the factory language • Avoid to use directly the contract • Which kind of information ? • Diverse and various necessary for the GIS production (Engineering ->site erection) • Examples : Electrical data, transport, tests required…. • The different users • Used by different services • Filled by Tendering in 1st step • Then by PM • The Readers (HVE, QMP, Transport, O&M…) Revised Technical Definition - 13/08/2010 - P 3

Revision of Technical Definition (TD) Limits of former version • Too much information; • Unorganized information; • The PMs complain too much information complete in a single shot; • The PMs consider some information as unnecessary; TD uncomplete or not existing Waste of time to start projects!
