Equation 1 (ASR) Where: UF = Silica fume, metakaolin, UFFA, or RHA, pounds per cy. FA = Fly ash or natural pozzolan conforming to the requirements in AASHTO Designation: M 295, Class F or N with a CaO content up to 10 percent, pounds per cy. FB = Fly ash or natural pozzolan conforming to the requirements in AASHTO Designation: M 295, Class F or N with a CaO content up to 15 percent, pounds per cy. SL = GGBFS, pounds per cy. MC = Minimum amount of cementitious material specified, pounds per cy. X = 1.8 for innocuous aggregate, 3.0 for all other aggregate. Note. For precast concrete, MC=TC and X = 0 for innocuous and 3.0 for all other aggregates.
