  2. 2nd WSIS Preparatory Committee Date : 17 – 28 February 2003 Venue : Geneva, Switzerland Participants : 146 Member States, Structure : European Community, Palestine, United Nations Bodies, Specialized agencies, Intergovernmental Organizations, Non-governmental Organizations and Business sector PrepCom-2 Chaired by Mr.Adama Samassekou, President of PrepCom Sub-Committee 2 Chaired by Mr.Yasuaki Nogawa (Japan) Working Group Chaired by Ms. Lyndall Shope-Mafole (South Africa)

  3. Result of the 2nd WSIS Preparatory Committee Draft WSIS Declaration and Draft WSIS Action Plan was reported. The Chair of the Working Group has provided revised drafts as of 21 March 2003. The Draft WSIS Declaration of principles and Draft Action Plan are available on the WSIS Website http://www.itu.int/wsis.

PrepCom-3 and Intersessional Period ・Intersessionl Drafting Meeting (between PrepCom 2 and 3) Date : July (to be determined) Venue : Paris, France (to be confirmed) Specific comments to the working documents for the Draft Declaration of Principles and Draft Action Plan may be submitted to: wsis.ap@itu.int - Deadline: 31 May 2003. ・PrepCom-3 Date : 15 - 26 September 2003 Venue : Geneva, Switzerland
