  9. 1st Grade P.E. • Wednesday and Fridays, 50 minutes! • All first graders together • Please wear shoes and socks EVERY DAY

  10. Assessment Folder • Please check all work with your child when the folder comes home. • Fill out the log and record scores and sign • Return ALL tests in the folder and have your child return to school the next day.

  13. Clip Chart System • Purple, Outstanding learner, helps others, listens when no one else is! Extra ticket on Friday • Blue, Great Effort, always on task. Extra ticket on Friday • Green is great and ready to learn! Your child is having a wonderful day! • Yellow, warning. Think about it. Maybe just having a bad day. • Orange, make better choices. 10 minutes off recess. Child has been talked to several times. • Red, Parent Contact, Visit to office

Birthdays Birthday Celebration Guidelines • No treats/goody bags (no food, no prizes) • Crown, song, and bring and hickory for the day If you choose to, you may: • *Donate a book to the classroom library • *Bring a book from home to read to the class and return • *Choose a book from the classroom library to read to the class. All summer birthdays will be celebrated in June.
