  2. This month we step into a different spiritual level of understanding as it relates to giving. 

  3. The principle of First Fruit Offering can be traced throughout the word of GOD.

  4. It is a principle that teaches when you take a sacrificial part of the first of your increase and honor GOD with it as a worship offering, GOD promises to bless the giver in a different kind of way.  When we are obedient to this principle it entitles us to several unique blessings. 

  5. When we step out on faith and pursue any promised blessing from the Lord, we must truly respect and thoroughly trust the faith process in receiving our promised blessing. 

  6. We must be deliberate in our obedience to the word of GOD. (1) We must ask in faith knowing that GOD will deliver. (2) We must confess the promise of GOD, and act in agreement with the natural order of possessing that promise. And expecting GOD to intervene. (3) We must be steadfast and unmovable in our pursuit holding the course of faith until the promise manifest.

  7. 7 BLESSINGS OF THE FIRST FRUITS OFFERING: YOU CAN EXPECT TO RECEIVE: 1. He will protect your increase as you walk in His will 22"You shall celebrate the Feast of Weeks, that is, the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year. 23 Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel. 24 "For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders, and no man shall covet your land when you go up three times a year to appear before the Lord your God.” (Exodus 34:22-24) NASU

  10. 7 BLESSINGS OF THE FIRST FRUITS OFFERING: YOU CAN EXPECT TO RECEIVE: 4. He will give you supernatural supply from the Kingdom of GOD. Now a man came from Baal-shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, " Give them to the people that they may eat." 43 His attendant said, "What, will I set this before a hundred men?" But he said, "Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, 'They shall eat and have some left over.'" (2Kings 4:42) NASU

He will cause a flow of abundance and the ability to save to come into your life 9 Honor the Lord from your wealth And from the first of all your produce; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) NASU

He will place His blessing on your entire household "The first of all the first fruits of every kind and every contribution of every kind, from all your contributions, shall be for the priests; you shall also give to the priest the first of your dough to cause a blessing to rest on your house. (Ezekiel 44:30) NASU

He will bring blessings on all of the rest of your increase “If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too.” (Romans 11:16) NASU

The Relationship Between Tithing, and First Fruit Tithing is giving God the first ten percent of all that we have earned, on everything we acquire, regardless of how large the earnings or acquisition may be. It is giving God one dime for every dollar we receive, according to God’s instruction.

The Relationship Between Tithing, and First Fruit 10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing until it overflows. 11 Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes,’ says the Lord of hosts. 12‘All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land,’ says the Lord of hosts” Malachi 3:10-12

The Relationship Between Tithing, and First Fruit 1 “Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, and you possess it and live in it, 2that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground which you bring in from your land that the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name” Deuteronomy 26:1-2

  17. Comparing The Tithe With The First Fruit 1. The tithe is calculated from the amount we have already earned. The First Fruit is offered in relationship to what God wants us to have.

  18. Comparing The Tithe With The First Fruit 2. The tithe we give reflects our past productivity. The First Fruit offering declares our future productivity.

  19. Comparing The Tithe With The First Fruit • The tithe is given in faith for protection over what we have already earned. The First Fruit offering is given in faith for protection over what we will earn.

  20. Comparing The Tithe With The First Fruit 4. The tithe looks backin thanksgiving for all we have already received. The First Fruit looks forwardto the blessing we will receive.
