  2. Uji Normalitas dengan Chi square Salah satu fungsi dari Chi Square adalah uji kecocokan (goodness of fit). Dalam uji kecocockan akan dibandingkan antara frekuensi hasil observasi dengan frekuensi harapan/teoretis. Kesesuian yang baik akan membawa penerimaan H nol, dan kesesuian yang buruk akan membawa pada penolakan H nol.

  11. Latihan: Seorang pemilik pabrik berpendapat bahwa proporsi barang yang rusak, yang berasal dari 3 buah mesin, yaitu mesin A, B, dan C adalah sama. Untuk menguji pendapat tersebut diambil 200 sampel acak yang terdiri dari 40 sampel A, dan 40 sampel B, dan 120 sampel mesin C. Ternyata terdapat produk mesin A rusak 5 sampel, 15 sampel produk mesin B rusak, dan 20 sampel produk mesin C rusak. Diminta: dengan taraf nyata 5 %, ujilah pendapat pemilik pabrik tersebut.
