  2. Comparisons of Equality 1. Tan + adjective/adverb + como El libro es tangrandecomo el otro. 2. Tanto/a/os/as + noun + como Tengo tantodinerocomo Bill Gates. (tanto como means as much as and does not show agreement) Nadie habla tanto como ella. Nobody talks as much as she does.

  3. Intensifiers 1. Tan + adjective Ella es tancariñosa. 2. Adjective + ísimo/a/os/as Ella es bellísima. If ísimo is added to a word ending : In a vowel – drop the last vowel In a Z – change to a C In a CO – change to a QU In a GO – change to a GU

  4. Comparisons of Inequality 1. más + adjective/adverb/noun + que El libro es másgrandeque el otro. 2. menos + adj./adv./noun + que Soy menosalto que Tom Seleck. The word DE is used instead of que in front of numbers. ie…Hay más de dos kilometros aquí. In Spanish comparisons negatives are used after the que as opposed to affirmatives that are used in English. I will call you as soon as possible.
