  8. When do we use superlatives? • When we want to compare three or more things. • He’s the biggest student in his class. • She’s the smartest girl in the whole school.

  9. 1-syllable adjectives, 2-syllable adjectives and adjectives ending in -y

  10. When an adjective ends in -e • We only add –r or –st • Safe • Safer • Safest
