Give me examples from the class How to form a possessive noun
My class >> (teacher’s name)’s class. • His pen >> (male student’s name)’s class. • Her book >> (female student’s name)’s book.
Pair work. Write sentences using possessive forms :possessive adjectives and nouns • Example: • This is her desk. >> possessive adjective • It is Nora’s desk. >> possessive noun
Note: contractions & possessive nouns • He is = he’s • She is = she’s • Clark’s = possessive noun • John’s = possessive nouns • He’s Clark’s teacher. • She’s john’s teacher.
Pair work. Role-play short conversation • Student A: Are you Marie? • Student B: No, I’m not. I’m Afnan. • Or • Student A: Is Ms. Amaniyour teacher? • Student B: yes, she is. / No, she’s not. Ms. Afnan is my teacher.
Answer: • Is Reemyour classmate? • Is she your neighbor? • Are Nuha, Noura, and Afafyour friends? • Are they your classmates? • Am I your boss?
