NEW INITIATIVES Enhancement of Wheat Production in Eastern UP Through Line Sowing • District covered - 27 • Operational Area - 1.46 lacs ha. • Implements use for line sowing - Ferti Seed Drill / Zero till Seed Drill. • Each Block, 02 Zero-Cum-Seed Drill will Provided – 730 nos. • Subsidy on Seed Drill - Through NFSM • Training is being provided to Stakeholder.

  19. Impact of Technology • Increase in Productivity - 03 qtl/ha. • Additional Production in Operational Area – 4.38 lac qtl • Saving in costs of Cultivation - Rs. 2000/ha. • Benefit cost Ratio - 5:1 • Project Cost - Rs. 859.0 lac • Enable the farmer for Timely Sowing.
