Pulses – New initiatives • Linking pulses farmers to market • Setting up farmer producer organizations through Small Farmers agri business consortium (SFAC) • Building pulses value chain in PPP (Rallis) • Remunerative Minimum Support Price • Procurement operations by FPOs backed by SFAC-NCDEX-NAFED • ‘Nitrogen award’ being worked out as bonus to monetize environmental benefits of pulses
