  2. Operational Goal 1 Northwest ISD will design dynamic learning experiences to ensure that all students are future-ready learners. We will increase the number of students identified as reading on or above grade level in grades K-3 through an aligned emphasis of professional development, curriculum development and alignments, and performance monitoring tools intended to meet the goals set forth in the NISD Profile of a Graduate.

  8. Building Leadership Capacity Principal & Leader Cohort Groups Campus administrators and Curriculum and Instruction staff were trained on the Rigor and Relevance framework that included campus visits, analysis of student work, and a calibration of Districtwide expectations.

  17. 2016-17Professional Learning & Resources • All new-to-NISDK-2 teachers are required to participate in nine hours of professional development in early literacy prior to the first day of school.
